Workflow Builder — Automate Your Business
The Workflow Builder lets you create visual automations that handle repetitive tasks, so you can focus on the work that matters.
How It Works
Workflows are built using a visual canvas with nodes and connections. Each node represents an action — sending an email, creating a task, updating a project status, triggering an AI agent, or checking a condition. Connect nodes to define the flow of automation.
Trigger Types
Workflows can be triggered by events (new invoice created, payment received, project deadline approaching), schedules (daily, weekly, monthly), or manually. Event-based triggers run automatically in the background without any action from you.
Common Automations
Popular workflows include: sending a thank-you email when a payment is received, creating follow-up tasks when a project milestone is completed, notifying you when an invoice is overdue, and generating weekly client status reports using AI agents.
Conditional Logic
Add condition nodes to create branching workflows. For example: "When a payment is received, IF the invoice total is over $1,000, send a premium thank-you email WITH a discount code for the next project; OTHERWISE, send a standard thank-you."
Testing and Monitoring
Test workflows before activating them to make sure each step works correctly. Once active, the workflow history shows every execution with timestamps, which nodes ran, and whether each step succeeded. Failed steps can be retried or investigated.
