Quick answer
A verified review in KAZI is only earned after a real, completed engagement, a paid invoice, a released escrow milestone, or a delivered project, so scores can't be seeded, bought or self-created. They roll into one cumulative trust score (escrow-backed work weighted highest, smoothed for small samples, decayed over time) plus a factual track record of on-time payment and delivery. A vendor can respond to a review but never delete it, and genuine disputes are settled by a neutral moderator. Both clients and providers build a reputation they own.
Online reviews are easy to game and easy to wipe
Marketplace stars get swapped between friends, bought in bulk, or quietly deleted by the vendor who earned a bad one. So the one thing a new client needs, proof you deliver, is the one thing most review systems can't actually guarantee.
Tie reputation to real money that moved
KAZI only counts a review when real, paid work actually happened, and weights escrow-protected engagements highest because they're the hardest to fake. Edits are kept in an immutable trail, there's one review per engagement, and reviews lock while a dispute is open so no one can rewrite history. Only a neutral moderator can resolve a dispute, which links to the same escrow or payment dispute, never a parallel truth.
What you get
Built into KAZI, and connected to the rest of the work you run there.
Verified-work only
A rating is earned only after a paid invoice, a released escrow milestone, or a delivered project. Impossible to seed or buy.
Cumulative trust score
One honest figure, weighted by how the work was paid, smoothed for small samples and decayed over time so recent work matters most.
Facts, not just stars
A behaviour sub-score reflects on-time payment and delivery, escrow reliability and tenure, drawn from your real records.
Escrow-backed credibility
Funded, released and disputed escrow milestones feed the score directly, the strongest and hardest-to-fake trust signal.
Moderator-only disputes
Open a dispute with evidence and escalate it. A vendor can respond but never delete a fair review.
Two-way reputation
Clients and providers both build a verified reputation, so everyone can see who is reliable before committing.

Common questions
What makes a review verified?
It comes from a real completed engagement, a paid invoice, a released escrow milestone, or a delivered project, between you and that client. There is no way to seed, buy or self-create a score.
Can a vendor delete a bad review?
No. A vendor can respond but cannot delete a review. If it is genuinely unfair, either side can open a dispute with evidence, and only a neutral moderator can resolve it.
How is the trust score calculated?
It blends your verified reviews, weighted by how the work was paid (escrow-backed highest), smoothed so small samples aren't over-read and decayed so recent work weighs more, with a factual on-time payment and delivery sub-score. Until there are enough reviews it is shown honestly as provisional.
Do both clients and providers get a score?
Yes. Reputation is two-way, so everyone in the ecosystem can see who is reliable before they commit.
