KAZI Translation Memory (TM) stores every translation pair you approve. When new text contains phrases or sentences that match your TM database, KAZI automatically suggests the approved translation instead of generating a new one. This ensures your translations are consistent across documents, sessions, and projects, which is especially critical for technical, legal, or brand-sensitive content.
The TM system uses fuzzy matching with configurable thresholds. A 100% match returns the exact stored translation. An 80-95% match highlights the stored translation with differences marked, letting you accept, modify, or reject. Below the threshold, the AI generates a fresh translation but still shows nearby TM entries as reference. You control the threshold per project.
Translation memory grows automatically from every translated document, live session, and quick translate action. You can also import existing TM databases in TMX format (the industry standard). Export your TM at any time to back up your data or share it with collaborators. The TM is private to your account unless you explicitly share it with team members.
